Diploma of Illustration students are graduating soon and are showcasing some of their best work in the Illustre 2012 exhibition at the Chapel off Chapel Gallery in Prahran. Invitation to Illustre 2012
Illustre 2012 represents the graduate student exhibition for the Diploma of Illustration at NMIT. Now in its 17th year, Illustre will showcase the best work from two years of study and offers an exclusive chance to see the next generation of exciting and emerging talent.
With 27 students working in a variety of styles, Illustre 2012 promises a veritable feast of illustrated works ranging from traditional media, printmaking, painting, digital design, animation and 3D illustration. Viewers will be treated to the best examples of pieces suitable for editorial, advertising, conceptual design, children’s books and comics.
The exhibition runs from Tuesday 30th October until Sunday 18th November at the Chapel off Chapel Gallery in Prahran. The opening night and awards presentation is on Tuesday the 30th October between 6 to 9pm and is free and open to the public.
